Reeco successfully cooperated with Xylem Inc-US, VNU-HCM University of Science to organize scientific seminar

On April 27, 2017. REECO Science & Technology Co., Ltd (REECO) cooperated with Xylem Inc (Xylem) and Faculty of Environment, VNU-HCM University of Science held a seminar “New technology solutions and equipment in measuring, monitoring water quality”

The seminar was attended by more than 60 delegates from centers, organizations, management and research agencies operating in the field of measurement, monitoring and monitoring of water environment quality.

In a presentation at the seminar, Mr. Tong Thanh Trung, Head of Equipment Calibration Department, Center for Environmental Monitoring and Engineering of Dong Nai Province shared about the current situation, urgency and challenges in monitoring water quality in Dong Nai province in particular, and Vietnam in general.

Mr. Tong Thanh Trung reported on the topic “The current situation and solutions to monitor the water environment in Vietnam”

Mr. Jason Hung, Asia manager of Xylem presented a presentation providing information about YSI’s new technology and design such as: smart digital sensor technology with the functions of self-identification, self-store and download of calibration data, design of anti-fouling, biological plaque central scanning technology help the multi-parameter water quality sensor to operate at the station in a short time 3 consecutive months without maintenance; at the same time, giving data with high accuracy and reliability… Besides, Mr. Jason Hung also shared with the workshop about the water environment measurement and monitoring projects in Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong,… Thereby, the equipment and technical solutions of YSI were applied very successfully.

In addition to discussing and listening to specialized reports, the delegates were also introduced by the engineering team of REECO Science and Technology Co., Ltd., and guided to work directly with the technological equipment that the company developed. Reeco presented at the Conference “New technologies and solutions in environmental monitoring”

In order to introduce new technologies and solutions in environmental monitoring, especially the environment and water resources, REECO Science and Technology Co., Ltd. has cooperated with Environmental Monitoring Center, General Department of Environment to organize Organized the seminar “New technologies and solutions in environmental monitoring” on May 25-26, 2017 at Song Hong Resort, City. Vinh Yen, Vinh Phuc province.

Speaking at the Workshop, Dr. Hoang Duong Tung, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Environment, said that environmental monitoring activities in Vietnam have been implemented and maintained from 1994 to now, on a scale from central to local. The agencies and units implementing environmental monitoring are increasingly developing in both quantity and quality.

In 2016, with the Prime Minister signing and issuing Decision No. 90/2016/QD-TTg dated January 12, 2016 approving the Planning of the National Natural Resources and Environment Monitoring Network for the period of 2016-2025, with a vision to 2030, aiming to build a rational, unified, synchronous, modern national monitoring system, reaching the leading level in the Southeast Asia region and the advanced level of the Asia region.

At the same time, to meet the demand for basic survey information to serve the state management of environmental protection and socio-economic development requirements, to serve forecasting, warning, prevention, mitigation of damage caused by natural disasters and environmental pollution, and response to climate change, monitoring technology applied in the network is increasingly advanced and modern. Investment in equipment is made to meet the practical requirements of monitoring and analyzing environmental quality parameters.

Representing REECO Science and Technology Company, Mr. Tran Minh Hai presented modern technological solutions with high feasibility and can be effectively applied in continuous monitoring of Vietnam’s marine environment, such as: Sea buoy station; Solution of underwater cable station & data transmission via cable to shore station; Bottom anchor solution – periodic data collection; Field measurement solutions, sample collection, laboratory and field analysis solutions, etc.

Trong khuôn khổ hoạt động triển lãm tại hội thảo, bên cạnh được nghe thuyết minh về nguyên lý hoạt động, các tính năng công nghệ mới,… các đại biểu còn được thao tác, đánh giá trực tiếp trên các thiết bị như: thiết bị đo đạc các thông số hải dương với các sensor đo, Thiết bị đo đạc đa chỉ tiêu chất lượng nước, Thiết bị đo ghi dòng Chảy, Nhiệt – Mặn, độ Đục, độ Sâu, Robot ngầm điều khiển từ xa (ROV),…dưới sự hướng dẫn của các kỹ sư.

Reeco successfully cooperated with VideoRay – USA to exhibit at the 6th International Conference on Water Resources and Hydropower Development in Asia

From March 1 to March 3, 2016 at the National Convention Center – Vientiane City, Laos, the 6th International Conference on Water Resources and Hydropower Development in Asia will take place. Attending the conference, REECO Science and Technology Co., Ltd. together with VideoRay company – USA will introduce and exhibit technical solutions and equipment: Remote controlled underground robot (ROV); monitoring equipment, sampling equipment, water source management..

ASIA 2016 is organized by international journals on hydropower & dams supported by ICOLD, IEA, Ministry of Energy and Minerals, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Power Company du Laos, Mekong River Commission, IFC and the World Bank. More than 500 delegates from 50 countries will attend the event to discuss all aspects of water development with particular relevance to the Asia region.

ASIA 2016 Exhibition is a major international technical exhibition held on the sidelines of the Conference.
